Tips for Disney Wedding Guests – Part 2: FAQs

Last week’s show, Tips for Disney Wedding Guests – Part 1, covered the basics of attending a wedding at Walt Disney World or Disneyland: how to get there, where to stay, and how to get around.

This week we answer Disney wedding guests’ frequently asked questions to get you set to attend one of these magical events. I’m joined once again by Disney bride Hope, a veteran Disneyland wedding guest, to dispel common misconceptions, tackle etiquette questions, and demystify the process of attending a Disney’s Fairy Tale Wedding.

  1. Also worth mentioning – if the couple provides a wedding website make sure you visit it. They typically offer more detailed info that wasn’t originally included in the invitation (maybe dress code information, or gift registry information or detailed maps of the venue) or allows you to rsvp online. Sometimes couples also allow you to make music requests via their website too. So make sure you remember to periodically check the wedding websites.

Remember that invite I mentioned in the show that was addressed to my husband only and we assumed was meant just for him? Well had we not checked the wedding website, we would’ve missed the note saying that even though the envelopes were addressed to one person, that significant others were welcome to come too.
