  1. With a reception at GM conference center, where do you have your pre-reception? Wedding is at Wedding Pavilion. Love your site!

    1. Hi! GM Conference Center has a small pre-reception space. You can see it on the “Pre-reception Space” tab here: https://fairytaleweddingsguide.com/wdw-venues/gm-lounge/. Alternatively, you could have your pre-reception pretty much anyplace else if you meet that venue’s food and beverage minimum. For example, you could use the Whitehall Room & Patio at the Grand Floridian by meeting the $3,000 food and beverage minimum. Or you could do my personal favorite, which is to have a first look and skip the pre-reception altogether, saving you money on food and drinks!

  2. This is such an odd question, but does anyone know what Meredith did with her bouquet when she got to the altar for the vows portion of the ceremony? I saw in one picture she’s handing it off to the officiant (I think?) but don’t see the bouquet resting on one of the altar tables…?

We will skip having a wedding party too, and this is one of those weird little details that only recently came to my attention as something I’d need to figure out!

    1. She handed it to her sister after her dad gave her away, and then her sister handed her back the bouquet before she and Josh walked back down the aisle at the end. I know a lot of people stress over this when trying to decide whether to forego a bridal party, but it’s really not that big a deal. One of your guests will be happy to hold it for you!
