How to Start Planning Your Disney World Wedding

Whether you’ve been planning your Walt Disney World wedding in your head for years or you just discovered that Disney does weddings, today’s show has the steps and tips that will set you on the path to your dream Disney’s Fairy Tale Wedding or vow renewal. Disney bride Mary Robey and I cover how 2023 pricing works—including how to stick to the lowest Event Minimum Expenditure—how to book your event, and how the planning process works. Mary also shares details and advice from her own ceremony at the Wedding Pavilion, with a reception at California Grill and a fireworks dessert party at Terrace des Fleurs in EPCOT!

  1. As MOB whose daughter was looking into a Disney wedding, I purchased your guide and began listening to your podcast. Ultimately, the bride and groom decided on a local wedding in March 2022 – but I’m still listening to your podcast!
I love Disney and I love weddings. Thoughts about the podcast:
    Your logo is perfection
    Intro music is also perfect.
My favorite episodes are when you go “off script”, ask follow-up questions and allow tangents to happen!!! I enjoy unexpected discussions and questions.
Sometimes I get lost on reception locations. It would help me if lesser known restaurants or locations are discussed, to give a location and perhaps a short description.
Thank you for keeping me connected to Disney through your podcast in between visits.

    1. I’m so glad you’re still enjoying the show, and thank you for the detailed feedback! I’ll keep that in mind about lesser known venues. Highlighting these is very important to me because Disney doesn’t do it!
